Viktor and Marina are fleeing their wartorn home and are unable to take their goldfish, Gleam and Glow, with them. They release them into a small pond, believing they will never see them again. After spending the remainder of the war in a refugee camp, the family returns home to find their house destroyed while a joyful discovery awaits them in the pond.
