In this book, Mrs. Noah grows a vegetable garden. As Noah prepares for the flood and gathers the animals, she realized she should probably do something to preserve her plants to be replanted after the flood. So she takes them on the ark. The plants also provide food while they are on the ark. Smart Mrs. Noah is able to replant all the food plants after the flood waters recede.

This is a "what if..." scenario and not based on any particular Bible reference. It is an interesting point of view since the plants are definitely as important as the animals. The illustrations are wonderful and colorful. The wording is a bit complicated so some explanations may be necessary while reading.
