"Meet Claire Waters, a young, dedicated forensic psychiatrist with unnervingly personal insights into the criminal mind. Driven by her demons, Claire has always been drawn to those rare "untreatable" patients who seem to have no conscience or fear. But one shocking case could make or break her career - and it's waiting for her in the psychiatric wing of New York City's Rikers Island: Quimby, a deranged inmate whose boyish good looks hide a sordid history of dysfunction and abuse triggers something in Claire she'd rather not face."--Publisher description

Written by two of the producers of Law & Order : SVU. My father recommended this book and I was hesitant to read it because we do not have the same taste in books but this was a good read!

I was expecting much better from these authors. I found the plot very unbelievable. Don't know if they are planning a sequel but if they are they have to do much better than this one.
