Add a CommentA beautiful ode to Central America, travel, and art, with a killer love story to boot.
This was an awesome read that I just couldn't put down. It is a thoroughly quality novel, and the clear and creative setting descriptions make you feel like you're where Bria is. Bria herself is likable in that she's very human: vulnerable, determined, and feisty. The humor in this novel is great, and the story-line is well drawn out. I cannot think of something that I did not like. I thought I could predict a lot of things, but I ended up being wrong each time. This is very cleverly written with nice additions like sketches from Bria's sketchbook, as well as journal entries. Overall, I really liked this and I think you will too.
Really great travel fiction that makes it obvious that the author is also a full-time travel writer. The places just pop off the page. Recommended for an excellent escape read.
