I'm a "beginner" and I didn't come away with any painting in this book that was acceptable. Although the author provides step by step directions, he only shows the finished painting and not intermediary paintings leading up to the completed work. That's a mistake for beginning watercolor books.

A good book, perhaps for "intermediate" watercolor painters with several years under their belt.

Very good for beginners. Has different kinds of trees, briefly. Flowers, fruit and vegetables.
