Tessa Reynolds gets hit by a dodgeball in gym class and she doesn't bother to duck. When she enters in a coma, she finds that heaven looks a lot like the mall she always goes to and knows by hand. She has flashbacks of the humiliating experience from junior prom and her struggle with weight and her perfectionist mother and other painful memories but finally realises she can learn from everything that happened to her.
When given the choice of going back to her life that she though as humiliating, will she embrace her life or decide to let go because she feels miserable?
After a severe head injury in gym class, a teen finds herself floating up to what she thinks is heaven, where she begins to reconcile with her past and gain a better perspective of her life. Grade 7 - 12
