Princess Mia may seem like the luckiest girl ever.
But the truth is, Mia spends all her time doing one of three thing's: preparing for her nerve-racking entree into Genovia society, slogging through the congestion unique to Manhattan in December, and avoiding further smooches from her hapless boyfriend, Kenny.
For Mia, being a princess in love is not the fairy tale it's supposed to be...or is it?
Over.
That is what my life is. O-V-E-R.
I know I have said that before, but this time I really mean it.
And why? Why THIS TIME?
Because I have a boyfriend.
Isn't that great? Sometimes I think I must be the luckiest girl in the whole world. I mean, really. Think about it: I may not be pretty, but i am not grossly disfigured; I live in New York City, the coolest place on the planet; I'm a princess; I have a boyfriend. What more could a girl ask for?
Oh,God.
WHO AM I KIDDING?????
This boyfriend of mine? Here's the scoop:
I DON'T EVEN LIKE HIM.

Add a CommentI recall this being one of my favorites in the series. And I've read them all.
i read this book too in high school in gr. 9 called princess in love but the book had hearts all over it so it looked way better than one but it was a really good book too .
Love It!!
can wait to read it !!!! I read the two first books and i loved it
the series changes so much ... Princess In Love is 229 pages and the next book is 50 ! good book though really funny, fun and i can really connect with Mia : )
A very quick, fun read. It's also the 3rd book from the series, Princess Diaries.
Congratulations to Meg Cabot, for not only writing a ten book series, but an amazing one at that! Mia is such a realistic character! Mia has her faults but you still love her. When Mia has her Big Breakup, it is sort of her fault, but you can see her side. Also, this series is hilarious! I recommend it to anybody an everybody!!!
