This is a fun and breezy read for fans of supernatural comedies and love the idea of NYC having an underground tourism industry for the likes of vampires, werewolves, and zombies. The main protagonist is a well-defined character with a keen sense of agency, which is satisfying and a pleasure to read.

This was a great book. I love paranormal fiction and this was also funny. Zoe is scrappy even though she is a bit unsure of herself at times. She deals with all the things the coterie throw at her, with a duck and a dodge and sometimes she even volleys it right back. If you like strong female leads, and dont mind a zombie or two then the Shambling Guide to New York migjht just be up your alley....... Just dont gown down it at night without a stake and some garlic and holy water

Pretty decent read. I do like urban fantasy, however, I find most of it annoying when written by female writers. Too much romance and sex in the books. I'm no prude, but it really gets in the way of a good fantasy novel. This book has just a tiny bit too much of that sort of thing, but not as bad as some. The characters are well drawn and the plot was good.
