SIMPLY LOVED THE BOOK!! even though it made me cry

A patron review from the Adult Summer Reading Game: I enjoyed reading Bound because I found it quite interesting to learn how tradition affected the family in the story. The unfairness of the tale saddened me though.I felt for the girl and the family. The ending seemed bittersweet, because the world they lived in was still unfair..

I love how the author made the book visual for the reader. The words were very clear and had a good flow to them. I enjoyed each of the character's especially "Xing Xing". I would share this book.

A very fairy tail life story. Kind of unrealistic but deseribe Chinese girls did when they had their foot bounded.
