I read the first few books of this series in high school 'way back when they were just being published for the first time. They are wonderful books, full of fun and interesting people... and Mrs. Pollifax?... well, who couldn't just love her to pieces? She's the grandma I always wanted. Active, lively, full of fun and life... and willing to get into danger. Also intelligent and smart... a wicked combination!
