Add a CommentVery entertaining. Diogenes, the infamous brother, finally makes an appearance in the Pendergast series
This was the book that started to turn me off of the series. Diogenes simply wasn't a believable (or even particularly interesting) villain...I found the constant "one-step-ahead" plot got really tedious and the almost supernatural abilities of the characters were just taken to far for something that's not actually paranormal. Some of the background story for Pendergast was interesting, but not enough to keep me entertained.
Preston and Child are a quick read at best, but this comes across more like Pendergast FanFic.
Pendergast on the run. I seriously want to have this man's children. Rockin' book.
