Bumblebees are round, fuzzy, black and yellow banded insects. There are more than 50 different species of bumblebees that live all over the world. They feed on nectar from flowers and make honey. Bees are "social insects", meaning they live and work together in colonies. Each colony only lives for one year and is started by the queen bee which can be as large as a quarter.
