When Carl is left at home for the afternoon, his mind is not on a nap. Instead with the help of a delivery man he winds up downtown ready for adventure. The bakery, the vet, and the magic show are just some of the places he visits with his owners obliviously on the sidelines. He even stops in front of the bookstore to admire his book! Then he races home just in time to greet the owner and her little girl. Not quite the sleepy afternoon, but Carl doesn''t mind, and neither do we!
