"Hmm. There would be something poetic about being the boss of a tribe that's always called me lazy and useless." - Glory
"It's normal to be scared. I'm scared. You'd have to be crazy not to be - well, crazy or Tsunami, which is basically the same thing." - Glory
"All right. As strangely adorable as you two are, I need you to either go away and discover your twin souls somewhere else, or focus on battle planning with me." - Glory
"You are so cute. Look at your face - like someone just opened up a giant treasure box and it's all for you." - Fatespeaker
"Wait. Just - remember that you're your own dragon. You don't have to do what you're told. You can at least ask questions." - Deathbringer
"General, may I take a nap? General, I need a papaya! General, my claws are tired! General, look a butterfly! SOMEBODY IS GETTING STABBED IN THE FACE IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP!" - Tsunami
Clay: hungry? There's a great pheasant around here somewhere. Oh,uh, I think I already ate it. Sorry.

Starflight is taken to the NightWings' secret home on an active volcano! He finds out that Morrowseer has gathered some "alternate" dragonets of destiny (Ochre, Squid, Flame, Fatespeaker and Viper) and their plan is to take the good ones out of the alternates and the good ones from the real dragonets and put them together! Starflight has always been confused about why he doesn't have powers like the rest of his tribe, but Fatespeaker claims that she does! Suddenly he gets it. He was sent here to be removed - she was his replacement! But he also knows that the RainWings are planning an attack - with Glory as their new queen - to get the RainWing prisoners back. Everyone asks him for information, but he has a big problem - tell his tribe the truth and betray Glory and the RainWings, or betray his tribe and lie to them about Glory's attack? Will Starflight ever be back to his friends? Read this book to find out!
