I have enjoyed this series so far, but this book, not so much.

The author has portrayed the main character as an obnoxious, whining crybaby. While she may be timid, I hardly think that referring to her sucking her thumb until recently is going to appeal to the 12 - 13 year old audience.

A good, wholesome series with typical (mostly) trials and tribulations of almost - teens.
