I tend to look at fleece as that stuff you buy to make robes, sock and hats from: nothing fancy, nothing really fun. This book is fun with bits of applique and ribbons and what not added to basic fleece garments. I actually bought a copy as a reminder not to be so serious all the time about churning out useful items.
