This is a 2007 96-minute documentary about our cunsumption.
Have you ever thought about how much food, everyday products, and fuel you've consumed during the course of your life?
In this National Geographic's new program (Human Footprint), you'll see that it is an extraordinary amount of consumption, if not an astronomical amount.
For example, if you live up to 77 years and 9 months (an average human lifetime), the total waste in your lifetime is 64 tons.
It is an amazing, amusing, sometimes funny yet profoundly thought-provoking documentary.

Informative and definitely an eye opener. I was hoping for more tips on how to reduce my carbon footprint though.

A look at the average North American's lifetime impact on the planet. They used a lot of visuals to emphasize the point. Although the filming process was certainly environmentally unsound (and not good for all those caged hens who had to produce a lifetime's worth of eggs), it was interesting to see how we impact the planet. I do think it glossed over the true costs of meat consumption.
