One of my favorite Smith/ Shea books, BIG PLANS nests a wild imaginative adventure inside a little bit of cheek! It's fun to read aloud, and kids will love the "big reveal" at the end, as well as finding all the call-backs to the story in the final illustrations. Great for boys and reluctant readers.

This guy? He’s got big plans! They are really big! I have no idea what they are, but they are not small plans! I love the typography in this, and the plans, they are really big. Just so you know. It’s a lot of fun.
