The instruction is quite clear, but in my opinion the book is disheveled. To follow a pattern, the author takes you through the entire book to find instruction on methods and tips. I have renewed the book to try and find all the information needed to complete one sock. Besides this inconvenience, the table of contents seem a bit vague with just a little introduction for each chapter, which in fact covers much more and sometimes not directly related collection of data. I personality needed more information to look up the details. The entire book must be read to follow a simple idea. The actual patterns are great.
