This is an amazing book and a great insights into the harsh realities of war and the effects it has on those who serve and protect our country. I would recommend this book to not only those interested in the military and worldwide conflicts, but for anyone else that is interested in current events happening around the world. I love how the book really gives you an insight into the lives of those who protect and how their lives outside of the military is effected. Great read, everyone should give this book a try!

A very insightful book and allows you to comprehend what goes through the mind of a soldier who for better or worse is trained to think like a scholar

This is the best book I have read in a very long time. One of those books you'll remember for years.
