I enjoy all the Universe series. I think they accurately portray what is possible and put it in perspective. I disagree with the comments that they use "scare tactics" or "silly doom scenarios." They are, in fact, quite accurate and not overblown, as some have portrayed them to be. If you want to be awed by the incomprehensible size, power, and dimensions of the universe, you will enjoy this series.

In it's totality, this is a great series, although it does get a bit repetitive and silly with the 'doom' scenarios.

Emotional scare tactics to get you "afraid of the sun" and insulting your intelligence by sticking some Wienie McDoofis on the screen from some "university" making pointless Star Wars references like the repeated "Sun = Death Star".

That was just the first episode of Disk One. I knew what the rest of the series was going to be.

This is extremely BAD.
It is an endless, and I do mean endless, video of things blowing up - the same picture over and over and over again. There is precious little information in this series.
When they get tired of showing the same clips of planets and stars blowing up, they revert to shooting watermellons (not kidding!) with shotguns and dynamite.
This is boring tedious stuff.
